After the extremely successful participation in the COMENSKI program, St. St. Cyril and Methodius Primary School, Damyanitsa village again won a project under the ERASMUS + program and started the implementation of the department's activities set out in the contract.
On November 18, 2019, in the city of La Linea / Spain / the team consisting of Dimitar Kehayov, Siika Georgieva, and Desislava Babanova took part in the first meeting between the partners from Spain, Bulgaria, Poland, and Slovakia.
With great interest, each country presented a brief presentation to the state, settlement, and school they represent. In a friendly atmosphere, the project goals, schedule, and performance of individual mobiles were clarified. The main point in the conversations was the method of placing students in separate guest rooms. Three workshops were held to discuss important tasks related to the successful implementation of activities, and the hosts from Spain developed a program that focused on visiting various groups and classes in the school.
"We were part of the audience at the school's flamenco dance festival, sharing the joy and love with which children dance this extremely beautiful dance. The meeting of the mayor of La Linea took place in a very beautiful building-Museum and was held in a stuffy and friendly atmosphere. We visited historical monuments related to the history of this city." - shared participants.
According to the program adopted by all partners, on May 18, 2020, students and managers from Spain, Poland and Slovakia will visit the school in Damianitsa village, and there is no doubt that as hosts we will present ourselves at the same level as in the previous project. Some of the activities that underpin the program are already being implemented by students under the guidance of the project coordinator, English teacher Siika Georgieva.
